Alissa McGeehan 

“Aim for the highest and you won’t fall far behind”

Hardworking and aspiring publicist studying at Roger Williams University, majoring in Public Relations and double minoring in Dance and Arts Management. 

Loves photography and pushing herself creatively. Always has a camera in her hand.

This summer Alissa will be interning at MullenLowe in Boston, MA as a PR and Social Influence Intern.

Worked as a Public Relations Assistant and Intern for CBH Communications during the spring and summer of 2015, a renowned Public Relations Firm in Boston.  Focused on assisting in the execution of media events and client openings, collected media clippings, constructed press releases, and corresponded with the media. Additionally collaborated with Polar Beverages and the CBH Communications team to create the “Polar Pink Grapefruit Cocktail Challenge” a social media contest featuring Polar Beverages’ new Pink Grapefruit Dry and the 14 trendiest bartenders in Boston. 

Additionally, Alissa has worked as a Graphic Design and Marketing Intern for Resolution Development Services, creating the logo and website for SEEGA, a newly developed organization app. 

Loves volunteering and is currently the Public Relations Officer for Peer Pals at Roger Williams University, a club that works with adults with special needs.  Past volunteering includes volunteering and serving food to the Athletes at Special Olympics in Boston every June. Furthermore, co-founded, directed, marketed, and organized Alice in Fashionland, an annual fashion show at Winchester High School raising money for the Winchester High School Art Department.
